Ride along the Brisbane River and soak in the city views and raise money for a great cause, close to our hearts – you really can’t beat it!
It will be an early start but a fabulous opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous sights of Brisbane during a mostly flat, 40km ride. Starting at the Wheel of Brisbane at Southbank, the route includes a combination of bikeways and on-road riding but will ensure you take in the city’s most loved suburbs.
The ride is suitable for recreational cyclists and clip in bike shoes are strongly recommended. Groups will ride together, and coffee and a light breakfast will be available upon our return.
Bike hire can be arranged with local company Panache Cycling and they will ensure you have the right bike and will deliver it to your hotel the day prior.

CHARITY WALK

Join us for an early morning walk with some of our AMP leaders to take in the sights of Brisbane as we walk together along the Brisbane River toward Kangaroo Point Cliffs, awaken your senses and start the day in a positive mindset while supporting The Black Dog Institute.
Donations can be made to the Black Dog Institute via our Charity Cycle fundraising page and all funds raised will be dollar matched by the AMP Foundation.
MORETON ISLAND DAY TRIP

Explore Moreton Island’s golden beaches on a fully guided day trip! Enjoy a beautiful cruise across the magnificent Moreton Bay on the MiCat Ferry with air-conditioned comfort (including cafe and bar facilities). You’ll then have the opportunity to snorkel the Tangalooma Shipwrecks, gliding over them in unique, transparent kayaks offering a unique view of turtles, dolphins, coral and thousands of beautiful reef fish – all without going underwater.
If speed and adventure is more your thing, feel the exhilaration of sand tobogganing at speeds of up to 70km/h, then experience a 4WD adventure in our 4 wheel drive ‘Tough Bus’ as we travel the rugged 4WD tracks of Moreton Island to The Desert.
After all that excitement head back to the beach to swim in the crystal-clear waters of Tangalooma Beach and relax on the sand. This one-day trip is a must-do and one extraordinary adventure!
The fully guided tour includes coach transfers to the ferry terminal, return MiCat Ferry to Moreton Island, all the mentioned activities, snorkeling equipment, safety vests, kayaks, wetsuits and lunch. Attendees to bring towel, swimwear, sunscreen, hat, camera, thongs, walking shoes, insect repellent and water bottle.
Attendees will meet at 6.45am at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre for coach departure to Port of Brisbane. Approximate return will be 6.30pm.
